Brighouse Lightning Tournament

Eight players, including a visitor from Hebden Bridge, took part in our annual pre-Christmas tournament, held on Monday 19 December 2005.
Top grade Robert Broadbent missed his chances with losses in Rounds 1 and 2, but denied defending champion Philip Clarke a 100% score by beating him in the final round.

The time limit was 10 seconds per player per move. Games unfinished after 60 moves were adjudicated. The grades given below are standard-play grades.
